We kicked off the weekend with an Old-fashioned ice cream social at Mia’s school. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place. We got to the campus at about 6:30, and as soon as we stepped out of the car the atmosphere was just so warm and inviting.
There were so many fun things to do. We had two really fun bouncy house/slides, mini-golf, boating, basketball, and one of the large playgrounds were open. Something for everyone! We pretty much did a little bit of everything, but Mia mainly stuck to the bouncy houses, and Emi was happiest at the playgrounds.
Also, I wish I would have snapped a few more pictures, but honestly we were having such a good time….that it was hard to stop to take pics.
Mia was so excited that she kept saying take a picture of me! She never wants her picture taken, so we knew she was having a good time.
Emi wasn’t interested in the bouncy houses. I think too many big kids, so I took her over to the playgrounds while Ten kept an eye on Mia
After the girls got some energy out, we headed over to the boat pond.
Checking out the mini golf course was next. They had dinosaur and pig obstacles, so Emi was in love. The girls and friends mainly just ran around dropping balls in the holes or rolling them around, so we parents decided to wrap the “game” up pretty quickly.
Finally, the icecream truck rolled on to campus. Mia had a Spider Man ice cream and a chocolate eclair bar, Emi had 2 strawberry shortcake bars, Ten had 2 chocalate, and I had 1 chocolate. We enjoyed eating the ice cream while chatting with some parents, and the weather was beautiful.
We had the best time! It was a great way to kick off the weekend. Ten and I joked that we need to have another baby jus so we can send them here!
