Emi is 1 month old!

Dear Emi,

You have been with us now for a whole month, and I can very truly say that time has flown by.

I unfortunately don’t have your one month stats yet because we haven’t quite made it to your doctor’s appointment. That is on the agenda for tomorrow. I can say though that you are growing by leaps and bounds. You are holding your head up like a pro, and you can wiggle yourself in a full circle when you do tummy time. When I look up from the kitchen to check on you, you are almost certainly not in the direction that I originally put you.IMG_5456

Emi, I just want to take this time to thank you for your awesome sleeping habits so far. You are an amazing sleeper and have even slept through the night a few times already. You sometimes wake up once to eat, but you mainly snooze through the whole evening….but this means you are awake during pretty long stretches during the day.

You have such a cautious and reserved little personality. You like to sit quietly and look around the room or at people. You are very aware of what is going on, but you seem to want to take everything in and not be bothered a whole lot. With that being said though, you love to sleep while being held. You will use that little voice of yours to demand when it is time to give you attention.

Dear Emi, I hope you feel all of the love that is poured into you every day. Your big sister wakes up first thing in the morning to run and give you kisses, and so do your mommy and daddy. We are so very, very lucky that you have made us a family of four!

We love you to the moon and back!

Mommy, Daddy, and Mia
